Dining and shopping are simple, casual strolls from South Pacific Palms Motor Inn, offering something to suit every budget and taste. From the 80m stroll to the Tuncurry Fish Co-op, catching the freshest seafood on offer in the area, or the 1km morning walk to the beautiful Tuncurry Rock Pool, for a swim in the shark net protected rock pool, followed by coffee or breakfast at the Rock Pool Café.

Or, that special occasion when you really need to impress, ‘thirty three degrees restaurant’ awaits you, once again an easy walk from your accommodation. At the other end of the scale and something to please everyone we have the famous Bellevue Hotel, built around a full sized in-ground pool.

  • Mullet season – you can watch the dolphins in Wallis Lake team up to secure a meal for their entire family.
  • The Forster Art Gallery offers many different and interesting artists all year around.
  • Seal Rocks and Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse are definitely worth a visit, not to mention the rock pool – the colour needs to be seen to be believed! On your way back, call into Smiths Lake for a cuppa at Frothy Coffee.
